Sizing
The width of your Sun Shield awning is dependent on the projection size that you choose. Different projections have different width restrictions. Refer to the table to see which model fits your space best.
Projection
The Sun Shield models offer three projections: 8', 10', and 11'6". Projection is the distance that an awning extends outwards. Having different projections means you can choose which one fits your space best!
Note: Since awnings are slightly angled when extended they will not be exactly 8'/10'/11'6" long when fully extended.
Valance Styles
Customize your awning with two different valance styles. Choose between wave and straight to make your awning look exactly the way you want.
LED Lighting
Every Sun Shield awning comes standard with LED lights that are built directly into the arms of the awning. The lights can be operated from the hand held remote that operates the awning.
Crank Adjustable Pitch
Every Sun Shield awning comes standard with crank adjustable pitch. The pitch of your awning is completely customizable. Using the included handle you can adjust the awning to pitch that you desire.
Heavy Duty Aluminum Arms
Other awnings use exposed cables or chains which can degrade over time. Sun Shield awnings uses cables covered with a thick polypropylene coating to ensure proper operation for years.
Electronic Accessories
Our world class wireless components makes operating your Sun Shield awning a breeze. By pushing the buttons on the remote you can extend or retract your awning as well as operate the included LED lights!
Sensor Options
Sunshield offers two different types of sensors to protect your awning and ensure it functions properly for years. The wind sensor is a motion/movement sensor that will retract the awning when it senses movement from wind. The wind and sun sensor will retract the awning(s) at certain wind speeds and/or extend/retract the awning when sun hits the sensor.
Manual Override
Our motorized awnings come standard with a manual override. Leaving you worry free during power failures. Simply insert the included handle into the eyelet and crank to retract or extend the awning.
Warranty
Our awnings come standard with extensive warranties. The frame is under warranty for 10 years, the fabric also 10 years, and 5 years on the motor & electronics.
